The holiday season is here and it’s a wonderful time to give back. We encourage anyone who can to help spread holiday joy this year by partnering up with organizations doing good amongst communities in need. If you’re looking for an organization to help, Big Sunday is seeking volunteers and donations for upcoming events this month, including their 4th Annual Thanksgiving Stuffing Event.
Big Sunday is an organization that offers various types of help to hundreds of non-profits, schools and other agencies in need of extra hands. Based on the belief that everyone has some type of skill they can contribute, Big Sunday makes it easy for those interested in helping by connecting them to organizations of interest. With more than 1,500 ways of helping, Big Sunday volunteers generally help provide manual labor, offer special skills, give away gently used items and more.
The Annual Thanksgiving Stuffing Event returns this month in Los Angeles and Big Sunday is seeking volunteers and donors. Each year, Big Sunday collects and packs large bags containing Thanksgiving dinners and donates them to hundreds of individuals and families. Those who receive dinner packs include veterans, women in domestic abuse shelters, low-income families, schools and more. This year Big Sunday hopes for another successful event, but can’t do it without food donations and volunteers to help pack dinners.
