According to a press release issued yesterday by Audi, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has recognized the all-new 2017 A4 as a Top Safety Pick+, the highest possible designation from the institute. The A4 is in good company, joining the 2017 Q7, which earned the "plus" designation earlier in the year.

"We are very proud to have the IIHS recognize the A4 with this prestigious rating," said Scott Keogh, President of Audi of America. "More and more customers are seeking driver assistance systems when making their vehicle purchase decision, and the A4 demonstrates some of the best technologies available today. Having both the Q7 and now the A4 be awarded Top Safety Pick+ ratings further demonstrates our commitment to the highest levels of safety and technology in our vehicles.”

In addition to an expanded suite of safety features, the A4 also delivers class-leading power courtesy of a 2.0-liter TFSI® engine that generates 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. A sportier, more comfortable, driving experience is enabled thanks to a redesigned chassis and powertrain, and the new front five-link suspension offers enhanced precision and handling.
