On your Audi infotainment screen, locate and select “Phone Apps.” “Phone Apps” is the first option on the second row, under “Radio” and to the left of “Vehicle."
A message will appear on your Audi infotainment screen, reading “Now connect your iPhone to the vehicle to be able to use Apple CarPlay: Audi_MMI_#.” Select the “To connected devices” button at the end of the message.
Now, refer to your iPhone. Select “Settings” then “Bluetooth.” Once on the Bluetooth screen, choose the “Audi_MMI_#” from your list of connectable devices.
A “Use CarPlay with Audi_MMI_#” message will pop up on your iPhone screen. Select “Use CarPlay” on your iPhone screen. While on your Audi infotainment screen, select “Yes, continue.”
While on your Audi infotainment screen, a Note on use of data will display, where you will select “Yes, continue.”
